Terms and Conditions for Roof Aid GTA

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Roof Aid GTA’s services, website, and any related interactions. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Agreement

1.1 Scope of Work: All roofing services will be outlined in a written estimate/proposal, which becomes binding upon customer approval.
1.2 Changes to Work: Any modifications to the agreed scope must be approved in writing by both parties.
1.3 Property Access: Customer agrees to provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area.

2. Estimates & Payments

2.1 Estimates: Free estimates are valid for 30 days from issue date.
2.2 Deposits: A deposit may be required to schedule work (typically 30-50% of project cost).
2.3 Payment Terms: Balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
2.4 Late Payments: Accounts overdue by 30+ days may incur 1.5% monthly interest.

3. Warranties

3.1 Workmanship Warranty: Covered for 10 years from completion date (specific terms provided in contract).
3.2 Material Warranties: Provided by manufacturer (copies available upon request).
3.3 Warranty Claims: Must be submitted in writing with photos/documentation.

4. Property & Liability

4.1 Customer Responsibility:

• Remove valuables/fragile items from work areas

• Secure pets during service

• Inform us of underground utilities

4.2 Company Liability:

• Covers damage caused by our negligence

• Not responsible for pre-existing conditions

• Liability limited to cost of services rendered

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellation: May incur fees if within 48 hours of scheduled work.
5.2 Weather Delays: We reserve the right to reschedule due to unsafe conditions.

6. Website Use

6.1 Content: All website content is proprietary and may not be reproduced without permission.
6.2 Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we don’t guarantee error-free information.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Mediation: Parties agree to mediate disputes before legal action.
7.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Ontario laws.

8. General Provisions

8.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms supersede all prior agreements.
8.2 Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
8.3 Amendments: We may update these Terms with notice on our website.
